For St Benedict, growth in humility is actually about intimacy with God. He was down to earth about what the journey away from ego and wounds to a healthy deep relationship with God. We will explore the Rule of St Benedict –RB 7 in light of this inner journey.

This retreat is for any seeker, beginner or seasoned. You will have the opportunity for sharing, reflection, and quiet time. If you have one, bring a copy of RB, your diary, even your camera—if you’d like.

Laura Swan, OSB

Sr. Laura Swan, OSB, is a writer and spiritual director, who also serves St Placid community as Formation Director. She is the author of numerous books, including The Forgotten Desert Mothers and The Wisdom of the Beguines. Sister Laura holds many different hats she is a "YouTube star” too.
