This retreat, held in Advent, will be a silent and very personal time for you. You will explore
what a silent retreat is. You will get activities for each of four segments: 7:30 on Friday
evening, 10:30 on Saturday morning, 3:15 on Saturday afternoon and 10:00 on Sunday
morning. You will have lots of time for creating and for journaling. It is a time of prayer and
rest.
You do not need any experience with art or materials. Do not worry about this. What you
create can be shared or can be kept private. There will be times of sharing, but sharing only
to your comfort level. The community of St. Placid Priory welcomes you into their monastic
environment which supports silence and creativity and fun!
