Due to the great success of our Forest Bathing retreat this Fall, Cascadia Forest Therapy will be offering a series of Guided Forest Bathing Sessions honoring the gifts that each season has to offer.  They will began with Winter and now are continuing with Spring.  Summer and finish again with Autumn

Forest Bathing is a gentle and physically undemanding practice of being in a natural setting to slow down…awakening your senses to the present moment and allowing your mind to rest from its busy work. The practice is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. In Japan, it is called “shinrin yoku,” which translates to “forest bathing.” Studies have demonstrated that Forest bathing is a type of therapy offering a wide range of health benefits in the cardiovascular and immune systems, as well as stabilizing and improving mood and cognition.

Cascadia’s certified guides lead participants in a series of carefully crafted sensory invitations that calm the mind and restore the spirit.  All are welcome! No prior Forest Therapy experience is required.
