Zoom: Empty My Hands: An Advent Retreat
With Christine Eberle
December 10, 2020
The season of Advent calls us to radical hospitality: creating space for the coming Christ in our hearts and our lives. The secular world, however, suggests that hospitality requires exquisite decorations, expensive gifts, and elaborate meals. Using St. Martha (the original overworked hostess) as our inspiration, this retreat will help us carve out a bit of stillness in the midst of the frenzy, so that we can “choose the better part” and respond to the spiritual invitation of the season.
