Zoom program - Teresa of Avila: Her Poetry as Window into Her Life
With Kathleen MacInnis Kichline
April 6, 2020
Teresa Sanchez de Ahumada was born into tumultuous times at the epicenter of a rapidly changing world and her life was caught in the cross currents. In a word, her life and times were much like our own, despite the 500 years that separate them. Her legacy of mysticism, example of leadership, and the gift of her writings continue to inspire and speak to us. In this session, we will use her poetry to access her inner life, wisdom, and spiritual inspiration. You will find in Teresa a trusted mentor and guide to the inner life with a passion for God.
